MY TAONGA

My taonga is my teddy. It is special because I got it when I was a baby. My teddy is old and fluffy and cuddly. I have another one and it is the same.

My taonga is my special kitten, Chocolate. It is my favourite and my dog is too. It was from the person across the road from us. She has three more kittens. Seventeen weeks ago I got it and it is special to me because it is new.

My taonga is a necklace. I got it from Save the Whales. It was bought in Hanmer. It has a star on it.

My taonga is a blanket. It is lovely and warm when I go camping and tramping. It is special because it is wonderful. I got it from my mum when I was a baby.

My favourite toy is Thomas.  He is the number 1 engine.

My taonga is a butterfly. It has different coloured wings. It is pretty. My mum got it from a shop. I have had it for a long time.

My taonga is a puppy. I have a bracelet for the puppy. It is special to me because it has a nice home. It sleeps on my bed.
